McNeese Baseball Team Kicks Off The 2012 Season

The McNeese baseball team begins the 2012 baseball season today.  The Cowboys start the season today on the road when the travel to Houston to take on Houston Baptist at 2 p.m.

The Cowboys aren’t playing any slouches either in the beginning of this young season.  The Cowboys will take on the LSU Tigers baseball team twice before we get out of February!  What’s even better is that LSU will come to Lake Charles for one of those games.  When is that game?

Well first of all, it will be a long road trip for the Cowboys to begin the season.  The will be in Houston all weekend then go to Baton Rouge to take on LSU Wednesday Feb. 22nd and then go to Ruston for three games next weekend against LA Tech.

The Cowoys will then finally return back to Lake Charles on Tuesday Feb 28th for the first home game of the season against Prairie View at Cowboy Diamond.

Then mark your calender Cowboy fans because On Wednesday February 29th, 2012 the LSU Tigers come to Lake Charles.
